How do i get vc4 to work on my raspberry pi 3 with archarm?

Most of the info i can google is really old and i suspect things has changed since then, but even though it's old info i've tried it, with no luck. i've also installed the raspios (debian) https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspberry-pi-os/ and yes it works there when i configure it with raspi-config, i've tried with the arch port thats availible in the aur but also with out luck.
got any advice? i hope im just a blind and its something obvious and thats the reason i cant find any info online.

An in-depth look at NR2003's Lap Limits

There's a tl;dr at the bottom of this post
In the original game, with no edits or anything, the most laps you can run in one race is 500, at either Bristol or Martinsville. But by editing the track.ini, you can go higher, although not much higher.
Because of the way the game is coded, laps will not count past lap 512, as demonstrated here.
The games uses 2 bytes (2 sets of 8-bit values), which allows for 511 in binary. Theoretically if the game was 16-bit, the lap limit would be 65535 laps.
But even though the limit for laps the game counts is 512, it can still display higher numbers, like the video above notice how it says "Lap 512 of 513".
That has a limit too. The limit for that one is 32767. Setting the number of laps to 32768, results in the game displaying "Lap -32768 of -32768, and the race simply never starts.
This one again has to do with the game's coding, since the lap count is actually coded in 16-bit, the range it can display has 65535 possible values, but the minimum value in this case isn't 0, it's -32768. So the number of laps the game can display is limited in the range of -32768 all the way to 32767 (0 is included).
From here, increasing laps will send the number of laps closer to 0, for example 32769 laps will result in -32767 laps. Also, for this image I circled 2 things, the left number shows what I set the laps to in the track.ini file, while the right number is how many laps the game thinks there is.
Setting the track to 40000 laps results in the game thinking there is -25536 laps
Until eventually, you get to the max number allowed in 16-bit coding, 65535, which will result in -1 lap.
From here the values will repeat, but there's another interesting thing to note.
Setting the track to have 65536 laps will make the game think there is 0 laps, meaning the "race" option will not be available.
By disabling practice and happy hour, and setting qualifying and the race to both be 65536 laps, the race weekend will become an endless qualifying session. (also note how in the elapsed time, anything above 9 hours displays the hours with a "#", in the original game it's almost impossible to ever reach a race that is 10 hours long, so it's rare to see this).
I also want to mention, that setting the laps to 0 actually results in a 1 lap race.
If you allow qualifying to run in a 0 lap race, the game will go to the race, but the race will never actually start.
As I mentioned, the values basically repeat from here, so you get
65337 laps results in the game thinking there's 1 lap 98303 laps results in the game thinking there's 32767 laps 98404 laps results in the game thinking there's -32768 laps 131072 laps results in the game thinking there's 0 laps 131073 laps results in the game thinking there's 1 lap
And you get the point.
But there is one more thing left to answer about lap limits in NR2003. In all these screenshots, it's worth nothing the Race Length counter on the side of the screen (and also on the track selection screen), but what's the limit there?
I found that these screens display up to 7 digits numbers just fine for example 9999999 laps displays just fine, but switching it from 9999999 to 99999999 resulted in a seemingly random number, yet 10000000, worked fine
So after some trail and error, the limit is 42949672 laps, setting the laps to 42949673 results in the game displaying 1 lap.
I also tried setting the track.ini to negative laps, but it wouldn't work, when I set the track.ini to -1, it displayed 42949672 laps (for every percentage too), as seen here.
Then I tried setting it to -42949672 laps (the max value), but I just got a bunch of random numbers as a result.
So because of this, the least laps you can display on the track selection screen is 1 (even if set to 0, the game will show 1 on the track selection screen, but will show 0 when actually in the race weekend, even though the game will treat the race as a 1 lap race).
And the final note, setting the laps to a letter, a character such as "?" or leaving it blank in the track.ini will make the game default to 999 laps.

My game just randomly closes while playing, please Help!

Hey guys and girls, my game just randomly closes mid match. I dont get any error message or anything i just have to restart the game. It is rly frustrating ans im loosing games because i am missing for 3 rounds every game on average. Also my teammates are frustrated.

How do i get vc4 to work on my raspberry pi 3 with archarm?

Most of the info i can google is really old and i suspect things has changed since then, but even though it's old info i've tried it, with no luck. i've also installed the raspios (debian) https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspberry-pi-os/ and yes it works there when i configure it with raspi-config, i've tried with the arch port thats availible in the aur but also with out luck.
got any advice? i hope im just a blind and its something obvious and thats the reason i cant find any info online.

X-Plane 11.50b9/b10 crashing on startup

Just an hour ago, I installed the GE Engine Mod on my JARDesign A330, and opened the sim and flawlessly tested it out. Now, when I go to open the sim, it crashes on startup. Even after closing it, Steam still thinks it's running, and says:
"An error occured while updating X-Plane 11 (app running)"
Yeah, no. It's not.
So I end the program via Task Manager, then I can start the sim again, but again, crash on startup, have to end program in order to try again, cycle repeat. Tried updating to b10 through Steam, but no difference.
Any help would be appreciated.

How do i get vc4 to work on my raspberry pi 3 with archarm?

Most of the info i can google is really old and i suspect things has changed since then, but even though it's old info i've tried it, with no luck. i've also installed the raspios (debian) https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/raspberry-pi-os/ and yes it works there when i configure it with raspi-config, i've tried with the arch port thats availible in the aur but also with out luck.
got any advice? i hope im just a blind and its something obvious and thats the reason i cant find any info online.

Gentoo's wiki states that if you see llvmpipe as your renderer you should try and comment out the driver line, the screen goes black, i assume its doesnt know what framebuffer to use.

LXC trouble

I have a few unprivledged LXC containter and i back them up using rsync.
I've had to restore a container, but now I am a getting trouble when trying to run the container.

Cant passthrough RX 5700 XT

I was trying to passtrough my only gpu but there seems to be a problem with vfio.

Since I only have one gpu I am forwarding X11 to a laptop and running virt-manager from there, windows starts and works fine but on my main display I only get a blinking cursor after starting the vm.

Edit: Thanks to u/cybervseas and this post https://www.reddit.com/VFIO/comments/7kpw33/cant_passthrough_boot_gpu_did_i_miss_something/ I got the vm working.
I added a line to the xml file that points to the rom file to be used. You can get that file from https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/ , download gpu-z and dump it or any other way to get the rom of your gpu.
    
The last thing was changing some settings in grub. I added the kernel parameter 'nofb' and changed GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD from 'keep' to 'text' in the file at /etc/default/grub.
Everything seems to work now I am writing this from inside the vm and I had no problems with the driver installation it works the same way as if windows was the host os.

Yet another Xplane 11 crashing on start-up post

Update: So after reinstalling a second time I am up and running again. I didn’t realize that when uninstalling it still leaves a whole lot of files and folders (I assume the custom or changed stuff?) behind. When I deleted that stuff and cleanly reinstalled I am running fine again. Oddly enough I’ve still got the same plane, plugins and scenery installed, so not sure what was causing the issue. Oh well.
Thanks to those that responded. Anyone else having similar issues, try their suggestions first.
Forgive me if this is type of post is not allowed on this forum. I tried posting to Xplane.org but couldn't make any posts, probably because I haven't posted there before.
I just can't get Xplane 11 to start up. I'd had it running fine for weeks, then just one day it wouldn't start up. It will get to the load screen, will start loading, then crasesh around the "will read airports" phase. Screen turns black briefly and I get the crash reporting dialogue.
As far as I know nothing changed on my system between it working and not working, no new airplanes or plugins or scenery, no updates, no updates to windows or graphics drivers. I've been through so many posts of users who have had the same issue, but it looks like it can happen for multiple reasons and I'm not sure what is affecting me. I have tried reinstalling Xplane itself, verifying game on steam, removing all extra plugins, airplanes, scenery, deleting settings file to reset it, made sure all drivers on my computer is up to date, doing clean reinstall of graphics drivers. Only option I can see left is to wipe computer and start everything from the beginning, but obviously I would rather not do that.
I've copied and pasted the log file here. I struggled to make sense of it so hopefully someone has an idea, because this is driving me nuts.

With Hallowe’en basically over, the only thing you need to make October complete is MAME 0.203. Newly supported titles include not just one, but two Nintendo Game & Watch classics: Donkey Kong and Green House, and the HP 9825B desktop computer. We’ve added dozens of new versions of supported systems, including European bootlegs of Puck Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Phoenix, Pengo and Zero Time, more revisions of Street Fighter II and Super Street Fighter II, and a version of Soldier Girl Amazon made under license by Tecfri.
There are major improvements to plug-in TV games in this release, specifically systems based on the XaviX and SunPlus µ'nSP processors. The Vii is now playable with sound, and the V.Smile can boot games. Tiger Game.com emulation has come to the point where all but one of the games are playable. Some long-standing issues with Tandy CoCo cartridges have been fixed.
It isn’t just home systems that have received attention this month: Namco System 22 emulation has leapt forward. Yes, the hit box errors making it impossible to pass the helicopter (Time Crisis) and the tanks (Tokyo Wars) have finally been fixed. On top of that, video emulation improvements make just about everything on the system look better. In particular, rear view mirrors in the driving games now work properly. If that isn’t enough for you, the code has been optimised, so there’s a good chance you’ll get full speed emulation on a modern PC. There have been less dramatic improvements to video emulation in other Namco and Tecmo systems, and CPS-3 row scroll effects have been implemented.
MAME 0.203 should build out-of-the-box on macOS “Mojave” with the latest Xcode tools (provided your SDL2 framework is up-to-date), a number of lingering debugger issues have been fixed, and it’s now possible to run SDL MAME on a system with no display. MAME’s internal file selection menus should behave better when you type the name of a file to select it.
MAME 0.203 is a huge update, touching all kinds of areas. You can get the source and Windows binary packages from the download page.
